Kitten Chaos: A Secret Agent Is Pancho... Almost

March 31st, 2005 by OZ

Yesterday's post was about me playing "Super ." Since then, one of two things has happened. It seems that my , Pancho Villa, reads this website daily or was playing : after I went to sleep last night.

This morning, my wife, who had already unwillingly played one game of "Super Secret Agent," had to play again this morning as an extraction specialist rather than an enemy. At about 8:00am, she went to the living room to find that Pancho had taken up the role of a super secret agent and snuck into the air conditioning/heating duct that connects our bedroom to the rest of the apartment.

Since Pancho likes to wake us up at about 4:15am, we've taken to closing the door at night and leaving him in the living room so he can roam the entire apartment minus the bedroom. He lacks the lock-picks or the thumbs to open the door, so, in true videogame secret agent fashion, he seems to have attempted to use the ducts. The result of his stealthy maneuver? He was stuck in the duct.

I'm not sure how long he was in there, but it was probably at least three hours. Here are three from his .

What kind of secret agent gets in this situation?
At least the A/C or heater didn't turn on.

Agent Pancho is wondering why the rescue team is taking pictures instead of helping him.
Answer: Because it's .

No, that's not a squirrel. It's Agent Pancho before completing the rescue.
I had to remove the grating and then stack boxes to the height of the duct's bottom.
He wouldn't last one day as a real super secret agent... unlike me.

Aside from being a very start to my day, this all but seals it: I am still the top super secret agent in this household! Hooray!

Today is "Out Like a Lamb" Day. I'm impressed, it's actually lambish outside.
